Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to HiDoc, a service operated by HiDoc HDHQ4 LLC ("HiDoc," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, booking platform, or telehealth services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, govern your access to and use of HiDoc's website and services. By accessing, scheduling, or completing a telehealth appointment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) and legally able to enter into this agreement.

2. Nature of Services

HiDoc connects patients with licensed healthcare professionals for evaluations and recommendations related to medical cannabis, where permitted by state law. HiDoc is not a dispensary, pharmacy, or cannabis product retailer.

HiDoc's role is administrative and technical — facilitating scheduling, telehealth access, and documentation. All medical decisions, diagnoses, and certifications are made solely by the licensed healthcare professional you meet with.

3. No Medical or Legal Advice on Website

Information on our website, social media, or educational materials is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be taken as medical or legal advice.

Always consult directly with a licensed provider for diagnosis, treatment, or any medical recommendation. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of information you read on HiDoc's website.

For questions about how medical cannabis certification may affect your employment, housing, custody arrangements, firearm ownership, or professional licensing, please consult with a licensed attorney.

4. Emergency Services

HiDoc is not an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.

If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.

5. Federal Law Acknowledgment

Cannabis remains a Schedule I controlled substance under federal law. Medical cannabis certification provides protection under state law only and does not provide protection under federal law.

This may affect individuals who work for federal employers, hold security clearances, reside in federally subsidized housing, or are subject to federal regulations.

6. Employment and Third-Party Decisions

You are responsible for understanding applicable laws in your state and consulting with an attorney if you have concerns before seeking certification.

7. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (or a qualified minor with guardian consent under state law);
  • Be physically located in a state where HiDoc offers telehealth certification services;
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when using our Services.

Providing false or misleading information may result in denial of service or revocation of a certification.

8. Telehealth Consent

By booking an appointment, you consent to receive healthcare services via telehealth — including video, audio, and electronic communication.

You understand the limitations of telehealth, including potential interruptions or delays, and acknowledge that HiDoc cannot guarantee a particular outcome or state approval.

Your provider may determine that telehealth is not appropriate in certain circumstances and may refer you to in-person care.

9. Payment and Refunds

Fees for appointments are due at the time of booking unless otherwise noted. HiDoc accepts payments through secure third-party processors.

All sales are considered final unless a technical issue or provider cancellation prevents the completion of your consultation.

Cancellations made before the evaluation is completed are eligible for a refund minus a $20 processing fee.

Refund requests must be submitted to support@sayhidoc.com within 7 days of the scheduled appointment.

10. State Registry Submissions

In states where certification must be submitted to a medical cannabis registry, HiDoc or your provider will facilitate submission in compliance with local rules. Approval and timing are determined by the state — HiDoc does not control or guarantee state processing times.

11. No Guarantees

HiDoc and its providers cannot guarantee that a patient will qualify for medical cannabis certification. Eligibility decisions are based on applicable laws and the provider's professional judgment.

HiDoc is not liable for any denial or delay of certification by state programs.

12. Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, logos, software, and content available through HiDoc are the property of HiDoc HDHQ4 LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of our content without written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HiDoc, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services;
  • Any loss due to system downtime, technical issues, or third-party platform errors;
  • Any decisions made by a state agency regarding your medical cannabis certification;
  • Any decisions made by employers, landlords, licensing boards, or other third parties related to your certification status.

HiDoc's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific appointment or service in question.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HiDoc, its affiliates, providers, contractors, and employees from any claims, liabilities, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or breach of applicable laws.

15. Privacy and Security

Your privacy matters deeply to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal and health information.

HiDoc does not share patient data without explicit consent, except where required by law or for certification submission to a state medical cannabis program.

16. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

HiDoc does not endorse or promote any specific product, dispensary, or cannabis supplier.

17. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution First: Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@sayhidoc.com to attempt to resolve the issue. Most concerns can be addressed within 60 days.

Arbitration Agreement: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, you and HiDoc agree to resolve any disputes through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court. The arbitrator's decision is final.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to bring any claims only in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

Jury Trial Waiver: Both you and HiDoc waive any right to a jury trial.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@sayhidoc.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved in the courts of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

18. Termination

HiDoc reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its Services at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law.

19. Updates to Terms

HiDoc may update these Terms occasionally to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
